Centennial History of Dittons Skiff and Punting Club

This history has been prepared to coincide with the celebrations to mark the centenary of Dittons Skiff and Punting Club (DSPC) since its foundation on 23^rd October 1923. It is a well-illustrated and highly readable 100 page book and with a charming cover illustration.  The book is on sale at the club and through selected bookshops in the area.

The history covers the foundation and development of the club and its life before settling into its current permanent home in Queens Road, opposite the Albany pub. It details DSPC’s place in the traditional Thames sports of skiffing and punting and the triumphs and tragedies along the way. Since it has always been based in Thames Ditton there is much here about local history as well as river sports.
